Question by : What do you think the current racism in the world is caused by?
This is what I came up with, what do you think causes it.

!) Colonization- This in itself is racist, you displace or genocide a whole race of people in the place for yours.

2)Christianity- Using religion as the basis for “civilizing” people you deem to not sophisticated and savage in nature

3)Dr. Robert Knox- wrote a book called -races of men – quoted in his book he wrote – “Can the black race become civilized, I think not” This book was widely circulated and said the superior races will dominate over all the others”.He said its a war of extermination and one race or the other must go.

4)Samuel George Morton- Cranial pseudo scientist from America – he came to an unscientific conclusion that just because people had different head shapes, they must be different species, that everyone else but white people had the possibility of not being human at all.

5)Charles Darwin – Survival of the Fittest theory – During the time Britan was exacerbating famines in India – most white people believed that this was playing out because Indians where so easy to rule over, therefore social Darwinism gave them an alibi to commit atrocity all over the world because genocide was sanctioned and encouraged.

6)Sir Francis Galton – the guy who invented eugenics. Galton concluded that it was possible to produce “a highly gifted race of men” by the process of selective breeding, which he later termed “positive” eugenics. Discouraging the reproduction of “undesirables”, in other words, anyone but white elites would be sterilized, hence the sterilization of Indian women in America, and America at large, using poor whites, blacks and large segment of the population.(1904) Namibia genocide, first death camp.

7)Mein Kampf – written by Hitlet -By the end of the war, about 10 million copies of the book had been sold or distributed in Germany.Clubs sprang up in the USA and worldwide for touting the book’s ideas

8)Eugen Fischer -He was one of those responsible for the Nazi German scientific theories of racial hygiene that legitimized the extermination of Jews, sent an estimated half a million Gypsies to their deaths, and led to the compulsory sterilization of hundreds of thousands of other individuals, deemed racially defective, such as the Rhineland Bastards, the mentally ill, and the mentally challenged.

All of these things circulated worldwide and millions of white people adopted these ideals and beliefs and many governments adopted them into policy and laws. So taking all this into consideration, all of a sudden wala you have a racism cesspool caused and created by white people.

Although Adam had come into being through all of them, and they had given their power to this human, yet Adam was more intelligent than the creators and the first ruler. The first ruler saw the young woman standing next to Adam, and noticed that the enlightened Afterthought of life had appeared in her. Yet Yaldabaoth was full of ignorance. So when the Forethought of all realized what was happening, she dispatched emissaries, and they stole Life out of Eve.

Elohim has the face of a bear,
Yahweh has the face of a cat.

Next came Sophia’s ill-begotten son, Yaldabaoth, who to all appearances seems identical with the Satan

Reads like a bunch of gibberish to me.
It appears to parallel some biblical accounts,
but the concepts are pretty far out there…

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The discovery by John Mather and George Smoot of “cosmic ripples,” which won them the Nobel Prize in physics on Tuesday, was lauded in 1992 by cosmologist Stephen Hawking as “the greatest discovery of the century, if not of all time.”

While most physicists do not go that far, they are universal in their praise of the experiment, in which the pair and their team designed a satellite and used it to find proof of the Big Bang theory of the universe’s origins.

They found faint variations in microwave radiation that dated back to just 300,000 years after the fiery birth of the universe.

These ripples in the microwave radiation, they said, were the primordial framework on which the galaxies, stars and other stuff of the universe took shape. It explained why the universe is lumpy and not a smooth sheet of matter and energy.

“The discovery changed everything,” said Lawrence Krauss, a theoretical physicist at Case Western University in Ohio.

“It produced a revolution in what we know about the universe — we know it is expanding, we know it is flat … and we can measure that to an incredible accuracy,” Krauss said in a telephone interview.

“Cosmology now is a precision science.”

Until then, theoretical physicists had cobbled together small pieces of evidence that the universe and everything in it had appeared suddenly about 15 billion years ago from an infinitesimally small point in a vacuum of nothingness.

When the 40-member research team announced some of their findings to a meeting of physicists in 1992, an “audible gasp was heard from the audience,” according to the American Institute of Physics.

Stephen Hawking, the Cambridge University physicist who explained theories about how the universe was formed in his popular book “A Brief History of Time,” was one of most excited. “It is the discovery of the century, if not of all time,” Hawking said in a statement at the time.

FILLING IN THE BLANKS

“I don’t think he was completely out of control,” Krauss said. People had known what to look for. “The picture, however, had been blank up to then,” he said.

“Then it was clear — it wasn’t a vague idea. It was clear the lumps were there.”

These fluctuations were faint variations in temperature, and scientists have since followed up on those measurements to try to understand, for instance, dark matter — mass that no one has been able to see or measure but which must exist because of the amount of gravity measured in the universe.

Some teams have come up with new theories of dark energy — a mysterious force that may be accelerating the expansion of the universe.

While the implications may far outlast humanity — the end of the universe may be coming in a few more billion years — Smoot has been clear on the need for the work.

“It is extremely important for human beings to know their origins and their place in the world,” Smoot said in a statement.

Krauss said the prize supports his own arguments — made to NASA and the U.S. Congress — that funding should go to similar experiments.

President Bush has urged NASA to concentrate on getting people to the moon and Mars.

“New experiments on the cosmic microwave background, new experiments to probe dark energy, to look for habitable planets — all these have been delayed and/or canceled because we are sending people back to the moon,” Krauss said.

We are planning a trip to Disney in less than 60 days. I have problems with my low back and hips, and am wondering what the best shoe might be for walking approx. 6 hours a day? I’ve heard New Balance are good, but unsure what model to choose. I am a female of average weight and height with a normal gait.
I’ve looked at the Sketchers Shape Ups, but those seem more like something to wear before the trip to get in shape, but not the best for walking the parks.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I mean come on! HOW are they so popular!? They are UGLY AS HELL!!
