Question by Ria: Skechers Shoes – compatible with long walks and running?
I bought some skechers running shoes and I love them.
First time I bought this brand.

There was an inserted ad on “shape ups”.
It almost seems too good to be true – the claims on just walking around shape the butt and so on.

It seems to be oriented towards office people maybe?

My questions:

Can you do long walks in them?
Can you hike on them or are you going to be falling down?
Can you run in them?

Question by It’s gonna get better: Question about the skechers “shape ups’ shoes?
I want a pair and i’ve looked all over the web and at sketchers website to answer this ? to no avail… is there a difference in the wedge height between the shape ups “metabolize” shape ups “optima” and shape ups “junkie” style? I want to know if they are all the same or different in the angle or height of the sole of the shoe., or different in any way other than visually (like color and such). This ? will require some research if u want to answer it., i’ve researched and cant come up with an answer. I will give all the pts to whomever can answer this for me., and thank u in advance for your time and effort.

I’m pretty sure the only difference is visually. I looked at them in the store and the soles seem the same.

I’ve seen the ads for Reebok’s new shoes with ‘balance ball’ technology (can’t remember the name they gave the shoes) and also a similar ad for Sketcher’s “shape ups”. I definitely want a pair! They promise to help tone calves, thighs, and butt.
I’m wondering, which are the better pair of shoes? Where is the best place to get a great deal on them? Thanks so much for any replies!

I got a pair and I regret the decision. They cost about $ 100 and you have to do A LOT of walking in them to be effective. Unless you do A LOT of walking you’d be better off doing exercises to tone calves, thighs, and butt. The ads don’t tell you that.
