Question by I ♥ you!: please help!! URGENT!! ugh BOY problems!!?
ok so there is this guy… and we have known each other since we were babies. and have been really good friends… and he is a year older.
well on the last day of school i was standing there talking to two of my guy friends and he like went out of his way to come and talk to me.. and when we were all standing there talking i was messing with one of my guy friends phones trying to like put my number in or something and one of his friends came up and said
” I wouldn’t be flirting with other guys” (talking to me)
” oh haha and why is that”
” cause seth(guys name) can be a pretty jealous man”
(luckily) my phone started ringing
and seth turned red and walked off while i was on the phone

and i saw him a few times during the summer but we didn’t have time to talk..

and then this saturday our school had this thing called the “kick off supper” and it is just like an “introduction” into fall sports(volleyball,and football) and they introduce all the players and do an auction and all that. anyways everyone that was getting introduced was kept in a hallway until it was time for us to go in the main gym.. and i was talking to a new kid that was going to be in my grade… and he goes “haha do you know that guy” and nods his head in seth’s direction. and i look back and he is just sitting there staring at me… and it was just like a hateful stare…so i exchanged numbers with the new kid(his idea)

and then i went over to where seth was.. and said hi and all that and nothing was awkward.

then we finally got to go to the main gym and get announced. and we went to sit on the floor and i was going to sit beside my best friend but set slid in and took her place and started talking to me.. well then we both and got announced. well then the new kid sat beside me. and started talking to me and the convo went like this
“haha wow i’m nervous”(him)
” lol why” me
” well i don’t want to seem stalkerish”
“haha no you won’t”
then seth scoffed at my other side and i shot him a dirty look. haha then he gave me the cutest puppy dog face look
and then i turned back to the new kid and he asked me
“will you go to homecoming with me??”
and i actually kind of like him so i said
” well i would love to, but let me think about it”
and he said ok and walked off
then seth was like
him–”you know all he is doing is get in your pants”
me– “excuse me!”
him– “thats just how you come off”
me– ” and how do i come off?!”
him– ” like a ****”
me– “and what is that supposed to mean!”
him– “that you flirt with a lot of guys”
me– “umm no i don’t ”
him– ” look its nothing to get bent out of shape about”
me– “whatever i’m not a ****”
him– ” not a **** in your sense”
me– “what is my sense:
him– “sleeping/making out with a lot of guys”
me– ” then what kind of **** am i,and fyi, i’m still a virgin i’m 14 dumb ass!!??”
him– ” the pretty kind” then he winked at me..
then that conversation was pretty much over lol

then that night i got a foward from his little sister that said

“he is still crazy about you but you will lose him forever if you don’t send on to 9 girls”
so i just kind of ignored it for then and got on my myspace and he im’med me like right away

so i mean does he like me or what what do you think??

oh and if it is to confusing just tell me and i will add additional details and try to explain it better, i just woke up and like wrote everything down so just please tell me what you think )

Question by A Hopp: Can someone guide me how to get in contact with a government official with an issue joining the military? HELP?
For the last 4-5 months i have been doing research and talking to people about joining the military. I make a 100% commitment to joining a branch in the military. I went to the marines, get DQed because of a surgery taking out 10 inches of my colon in july of 2007. I go to the army, and i get DQed. I”m waiting to hear back from the navy tomorrow. I am 20 years old, 185 pounds and in athletic shape, lift weights and run five times a week. There has NEVER been a problem with my surgery since it was done. I want to “stick it to the man” because i am trying to serve my country that most people would say “i couldn’t do that man” and i’m getting screwed for standing up for my country. I just want help to get in contact with a government official of any kind and explain my situation. and don’t tell me it’s fate cause that’s bull.

talk to a doctor and get him to give you papers saying that you are in good physical shape and no problems with your surgery… take that to your branch and show them and just pray for a waiver

LONG BUT PLEASE READ AND TRY TO HELP ME, ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED (I Love CAPS TOO)

Hello Yahoo answers, first let me start off with the fact that I usually don’t go on here much unless in a great deal of personal stress or need some serious advice, hell ANY advice would be appreciated. With that out of the way, let me begin. First off let me try not to ramble (Too late I know) and tell the story in the least amount of words. To sum it up, I never had a girlfriend, recently acquired one who is very smart and dare I say almost “As intelligent as a man”, but is in no way shape or form a man (I checked, thoroughly). Said girlfriend doesn’t seem to care about me all that much, or at least that’s the way I feel. It seems she keeps me around just for witty banter and a few laughs, she says she likes me but as we all know, people lie.

So now I’m sitting here having not having seen her for 3 days because she’s busy with family, which I was more or less ok with and granted her those days. I recently gave her my game collection and she’s been playing that, did I mention she BAILED on going somewhere with me today just to go to her cousins where the Xbox is? (HINT HINT), I mean Ninja Gaiden is a good game, but I feel used and alone, and angry, and most of all annoyed at the fact that she apparently doesn’t care about seeing me as much as I care about seeing her. Part of my frustration is bent towards family issues just for your information, so you don’t trail off thinking I’m some crazy son of a ***** boyfriend with need issues. But lets focus on the girl, what the hell is she doing? If any of you are confused on exactly what the hell is going on, I’ll add details to assist you. If you’ve read this far then I congratulate you on a job well done, no cookies this time though, just water.
Sorry about the wrong category, it set me to this one. Again sorry for the inconvenience.
I should add the detail that we haven’t talked much or seen each other for 5 or so days, apart from a few texts that’s all I’ve got.

Question by : i had the oddest dream with Jesus in it.. help!?
THIS IS LONG!
for the past month or so, i’ve been having really weird evil dreams.
i’ve had dreams about..

people trying to kill me with nuclear substances.
people trying to kill me,
people choking me.
people trying to rape me..

in my dream last night, i dreamed about about a “blue man” who’s skin was blue and he wore blue spandex shorts with a yellow line around them.
now this “blue man” would stand outside in my yard, watch me through the windows, and hide in my gardens and peek at me. i wouldn’t dare go outside, because if i did. my body would feel like it was being transformed. and the dream would go into some sort of “other world”. (i only went out once then popped back into the house. and it was night).
so then the blue man, was sitting on my doorstep, and i was dragged outside somehow.
then i look up, the sky is brownish orange, and i see JESUS! i call his name like “IT’S JESUS!” “jesus, jesus, jesus..”
and he started to get closer, and closer. then he picked me up and i woke up. but there was a bean shape thing by his feet when he was standing in the sky.
ANYWAY.
there was another dream when a frog like creature was choking me, and i could only inhale. literally. and i was moving my body. in that dream the setting was a white room, and a LONG staircase, that went down.
in all of these dreams i could never see a face, not Jesus’s, the blue man, or the workers at the nuclear plant. but in the frog dream, the animal has yellowish eyes. like a Dijon mustard.

could you please just help to know what’s going on.
i’m tired of losing sleep over this.
i really thank all of you for answering this question.

I told my husband today that I would like to join the ARMY. Before I met him I was going to join while in school. I do have back problems however my recruiter told me that all I had to do was prove to the medical specialist that I can do anything anyone in the ARMY can and I believe I can do because I was in track for 2 years and I was also in shape doing sit up, push up, running, Jogging, and other exsercieses to stay in shape. I did not sign. But for some reason my husband is stopping me from going into the ARMY to be a Medic. I know everything about it and I really want to do it. But he keeps putting me down and telling me that I cant join and making all kinds of excuses for me not to join. But as a recall a week ago he came home and told me his “friends at work” called me lazy and told him since I did not have a job they would have booted me to the curb. I met my husband online and all my family lives in NY as well as I also did. I am a nurse in NYS already but he refuses to get me
My license down here. I seriously have tried everything. I have even gone as far as telling him that I am going back to NY because there is nothing for me down here. I have no clue on what to do to make him happy. What can I do? I have tried everything.
I have a 3 year old son..

If the ARMY is your call, do so, but if its just because you want to get away from other things, then don’t. He is trying to make you stay and I don’t think you should care what his friends think of you, as long as you are happy with your life.. If I were you, I would seek for a person who I can talk to and arrange my ideas, like a psychologist or a counselor, just to have a second opinion. Now think about your little one, would you take him to NY?? or if you do join the Army, would you leave him with your husband? just think about it…

I work in shoes, and i know a little about shape ups. I know that they are beneficial in many ways but i also know that they have 5 different levels of “shaping Up”. Does anyone know the highest level or all of them in order?

There aren’t levels I don’t think
They have the Navy, Plain White,
Grey with Mesh for women
and those are for walking
then the light pink / grey
& the light blue / grey are for running
and then they make a couple for
resistance training that’s all I
really know about them.
(all the above is for women’s so I don’t
know if men’s has the same thing or not)

Hey i need to buy sneakers for my gym class and i though why not buy sneakers said to tone muscles up. So i was wondering which ones were better with more results and which ones are better for walking in. Please list the pros and cons, this would amazing!!!

I think my hips and inner thighs seem to be my biggest problem. What exercises are best to tone these areas?

Right now I walk two miles a day on the treadmill. One mile is walked at a 3.5, one at a 4, both are at a 7 incline and both are in my Skecher’s Shape Ups. Will this help?
